2023 Spring Luncheon

We were delighted with the number of members and guests who attended this culminating 2022-2023 event at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent.

Our Social committee decorated the tables and the podium beautifully in bright yellow flowers and centerpieces, and gave out 12 draw prizes from local businesses, including books and CD’s from Sharon and Randi Hampson, and the 3 floral arrangements at the podium.

Anna Hopkins, Ward 9 councillor, brought greetings from City Council and the Mayor’s office, with some interesting history about our club!

Our speakers, Sharon and Randi Hampson shared with us many aspects from Sharon’s career and life, especially her courage and determination surviving breast cancer 3 times. They performed some of the songs and books that Randi has rewritten in the last 3 years. The audience enthusiastically sang along with them. Their special guest, Paul Mills, accompanied them on guitar on their last two songs.
