Pre- Covid, every project involved a fascinating story, sometimes amusing, sometimes nerve-wracking, but always exciting. This presentation details the journey and explains the major changes needed to survive profitably in a volatile economy.

Ice carving as an art form has been around for hundreds of years, but only in the last 35 years has it become an industry, with technology that rivals that in the aircraft and automobile industries. Ice Culture played a major role in bringing ice  carving into the 21st century.

Julian Bayley and his late wife, Ann, defied the odds and in a period of 35 years built Ice Culture into one of the biggest and most recognizable players in the hospitality ice business, worldwide. They were selling ice and ice equipment all over North America and exporting to more than 55 countries around the world.

Ice Culture has survived the world recession in 2008, changes in administration and most of all Covid which devastated the hospitality industry.
